Advisor Centre | Multi-factor authentication coming soon
To help protect your clients’ financial and personal information, we’ll soon be implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA) in the Advisor Centre.
This important change will impact the way you log in to the Advisor Centre.
About MFA
You probably already use multi-factor authentication with your other online accounts, such as banks, retailers and government authorities.
It provides an additional layer of security to the sign-in process in order to ensure that:
It is really you who is trying to access your accounts;
It reduces your risk of becoming a victim of identity theft, online fraud and account hacking.
What do I need to do?
MFA will be rolled out gradually, beginning November 22, 2023. You will be notified by e-mail 2 weeks before the change affects your account, as well as a reminder 24 hours beforehand.
Once MFA has been activated on your account, you will need to choose and configure your authentication method:
Be proactive! As soon as you know the date when MFA will be activated for your account, block your diary that morning to ensure you have a few minutes to configure your MFA.
