Personal information | The importance of obtaining client consent

Whether it's to preserve the privacy of your clients or to enable us to serve them, the protection of personal information is always a priority for iA Financial Group.

 

We are currently reviewing, updating and improving our practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information, in line with changes to the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector.

 

Improved sales tools

As of September 13, you will need to obtain consent from clients and prospects regarding their personal information before proceeding with data collection.

 

We have adjusted your sales tools (EVO Insurance, EVO Savings and Assure&go) accordingly, by adding two short questions. These questions fit in perfectly with the current processes and in no way affect their fluidity.

 

Please note that once consent has been obtained, an email will be sent to clients confirming that we have recorded their personal information processing preferences.

    1. Download the new version of your sales tools (available from September 13)
    2. Collect your clients’ email addresses and consent

    Please note that all our application forms have also been adjusted and that you will need to provide the client with the PRP notice at the end of the document.
